After graduating from Brooklyn College, the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine, and earning his Orthodontic specialty degree from UMDNJ, Dr. Bruce Ollins established Ollins Orthodontics.
He is constantly reinvesting in the practice by providing patients with the latest technological advances, including Damon self-ligating braces, customized Insignia braces, 3D imaging, and intraoral scanning. Through these innovative techniques and technology, Dr. Ollins is able to provide patients with an improved orthodontic experience that is more efficient, comfortable, and successful.
Dr. Gabriel Ollins is proud to have followed in his father’s footsteps in providing outstanding orthodontic care as part of Ollins Orthodontics since 2007. Dr. Ollins graduated from The George Washington University and University of Maryland Dental school where he earned both his dental degree and specialty orthodontic certificate.
He shares his father’s passion for always striving to improve the orthodontic treatment provided in the office through the incorporation of the latest technological advancements.
Clifton Braces Specialists
Traditional braces are one of the most efficient orthodontic tools we have. They are composed of metal or ceramic brackets that are attached to the teeth, then connected by wires and tiny rubber bands or elastics. Through regular adjustments with our doctors, these brackets, wires, and bands work together to apply the gentle pressure that will gradually move the teeth into the desired positions.
Clifton braces are an excellent choice for correcting complex tooth issues. Because they can sometimes work faster at closing gaps and aligning teeth than other treatments might, overall treatment time may be slightly reduced. Braces don’t require some of the more complex technology or expensive equipment that newer treatments can, making Clifton braces a cost-effective orthodontic option.

Instead of brackets and bands, the Clifton Invisalign system uses a series of clear, removable aligners to gradually move the teeth into alignment. Invisalign is incredibly popular with both patients and orthodontists, and is the top alternative to traditional braces.
Invisalign aligners are made of a comfortable plastic material and customized to fit snugly over the patient’s teeth. These nearly invisible trays will generally be switched out every 1-2 weeks for the next in the series to keep teeth moving in the direction we want them to. The Invisalign system can only work if the recommended guidelines are followed exactly! Aligners should be worn 20-22 hours per day throughout treatment. If patients neglect to wear the aligners as directed, it can impede the results and also add time to the orthodontic process.
Invisalign is at its most efficient when correcting many of the most common orthodontic issues. For some complex cases, Invisalign may not be a viable option.
